Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Groupe Dispozition inc., a company in Québec, Canada (“we”, “Modifee”). Creating an account or using Modifee means you accept them.

The service

Modifee is a web app for agencies. It adds a chat widget to sites you build. Your clients describe a change, an AI agent proposes code, and you decide what is merged.

Accounts and workspaces

The dashboard requires an account. Each account has a workspace. You are responsible for the people you allow in, and for activity under your account. Keep your sign-in private.

Your responsibility

You approve what gets merged. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or unsafe. Review the diff and the preview before you merge or ship a change. You are responsible for the sites, repositories, and client relationships you connect to Modifee.

Repositories and third-party services

Connecting GitHub lets Modifee read the repositories you choose and open pull requests. Connecting Vercel lets Modifee create a preview-protection bypass, as described in Connect Vercel. GitHub and Vercel have their own terms. You can disconnect either one at any time.

Beta

Modifee is in beta and is provided “as is”, without warranty. We do not guarantee uptime, that a change will be correct, or that a preview will be available. Features and limits can change during the beta.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Groupe Dispozition inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or client relationships arising from your use of Modifee. Our total liability for the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. If you have not paid, that limit is zero.

Billing

Paid plans are not on sale yet. Before any charge, we will show the price and how renewal works. The beta has no subscription fee. You still pay your own GitHub, Vercel, and hosting costs.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Modifee and disconnect integrations at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses the service, or creates a security risk. The sections on liability and governing law stay in effect after the agreement ends.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Québec. Disputes are brought in the courts of the district of Montréal, Québec, unless a law requires another venue.
